Vines: Groppello minimum 85% + other grapes recommended and allowed by the Province of Brescia

Production area: Brescia side of Lake Garda

Climate: mild climate typical of lake areas

Soil: limestone and clay

Altitude: 120 m a.s.l.

Production yield: 100 quintals per hectare

Average age of the vines: 20/30 years

Wine-making techniques: tumultuos and malolactic fermentation at 25-30 Celsius degrees. The maceration takes place for about 6 days

Aging: not provided

Ageing: in bottle for five months

Colour: ruby red

Fragrance: refined vinous notes, strawberry, red roses and small fruit

Taste: sharp and precise taste, with good drinkability. Flavor and balance between softness and fresh acidity

Alcohol content: 12% vol

Interesting fact: in the westernmost part of Lake Garda, the Valtenesi, we find among the varieties grown one which stands out for its particular ability to adapt itself to the environment, great expressive potential and definite quality in the vinification process: the Groppello, in its many varieties, Groppellone and in which it is perhaps identified as the most adapt, the Mocasina Gentile variety
