La nostra azienda si occupa fin dagli anni ’30 della produzione di vini tipici dei Colli di Parma. La produzione della birra nasce dalla passione personale per la bevanda di Cerere di Losi Renzo. Renzo ha iniziato sin dai primi anni ’90 a prodursi la birra in casa, quindi, dopo la laurea in biologia conseguita nel 1995, ha iniziato nel 2000 la produzione vera e propria della Panil, il cui nome ha origini segrete. “Mi ricordo che fin da quando avevo 14 anni ho iniziato a bere birra. Ho assaggiato praticamente tutte quelle che giravano nelle birrerie dell’epoca. Mi sono focalizzato comunque sulle birre provenienti dal Belgio, che ritenevo le migliori”. Da qui nasce la Panil ora disponibile in 4 versioni differenti. “Pratico una doppia fermentazione su tutte le mie birre, perchè ritengo sia l’unico metodo possibile di fare una buona birra in bottiglia”. L’amore per le bionde non si ferma però qui. “La caratteristica che maggiormente mi interessa nelle mie birre è l’equilibrio, unito ad una grande digeribilità. Non uso nessun tipo di conservanti ne pastorizzazione, per dare sempre il massimo gusto possibile”. Le birre Panil hanno ottenuto in breve tempo successi e consensi. Gli influssi enologici non potevano certamente rimanere esclusi da questo percorso e Renzo a così iniziato a “barricare” le proprie birre. Sono cosi nate nuove birre che hanno ottenuto clamorosi successi, arrivando a scalare le classifiche mondiali. “Nuovi gusti, o meglio, il recupero di gusti antichi, legnosi, vinosi, sono assolutamente da recuperare, poichè, in fin dei conti, si tratta di un percorso mentale” dice Renzo. Renzo ha sempre un occhio rivolto al futuro ed uno al passato dal quale, sostiene, si ha da imparare molto più di quanti si sospetti. La Famiglia intera lo aiuta in questo suo progetto, in particolare modo la sorella Patrizia che si occupa della parte commerciale.

They are born so new beers that have achieved enormous success, reaching global rankings. “New tastes, or rather, the recovery of ancient tastes, woody, winey, they are absolutely to be recovered, because, after all, this is a mental journey,” says Renzo. Renzo has always an eye to the future and one in the past from which, he says, one has to learn a lot more than you suspect. The whole family supports you in your project, especially his sister Patricia who takes care of business.
